Take the butter out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature.
Zest the skin of 1 whole lemon. Mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Whip the soft butter until its yellow colour turns white and the texture becomes much more light and fluffy. Careful if you’re working with a mixer do not let the butter get too warm to avoid it from melting.
Mix the whipped butter with your lemon zest and salt mix. Transfer to a bowl. Decorate with edible flowers. Serve with bread for the table.
